Over 700 Synetica enLink wireless air quality monitors have been supplied and installed into the 40-storey development in London.

Working in partnership with intelligent buildings specialists, Lloret, Synetica have supplied more than 700 of their enLink wireless air quality sensors into 100 Bishopsgate, a 40-storey commercial development in the heart of The City of London.
100 Bishopsgate is home to Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer LLP (Freshfields), a British multinational law firm headquartered in London employing more than 4,000 people and serving clients in over 150 countries worldwide. Founded in the eighteenth century, Freshfields first client was the Bank of England and is considered to be the oldest international law firm in the “Magic Circle”, a term used to describe the five most prestigious law companies operating in the UK. In a move to minimise the firm’s environmental impact, Freshfields relocated from its home of 30 years in Fleet Street to the new City of London development at 100 Bishopsgate.
As part of the prestigious development, Synetica worked with Lloret, a company specialising in the supply, installation, and ongoing maintenance of intelligent building systems, to fit over 700 of their enLink wireless air quality sensors into the iconic building. The sensors transmit critical indoor air quality information including details on CO2 and VOC levels via LoRaWAN long range wireless to the Bishopsgate Building Management System. The system regulates heating, ventilation and air conditioning to ensure that the correct amount of fresh air is introduced to the building to maintain good air quality without consuming excess energy and producing additional carbon.
100 Bishopsgate is a striking glass and steel tower which transforms from a parallelogram at its base to a rectangle at the top, and has become one of London’s largest, single, and most distinctive high-rise buildings. The development was awarded “Best Tall Office Building 2021 Award of Excellence”, has achieved BREEAM “Excellent” rating for its sustainability and is ActiveScore Platinum Certified.
