Zone View Home - Damp and Mold Sensor
Measures temperature and humidity levels exclusively, to help prevent a build up of damp and mould, keeping residents in a healthy atmosphere.

The enLink Zone View Home LoRaWAN Damp and Mould Sensor focuses on continuously monitoring temperature and humidity, which can trigger a build-up of damp, and subsequently mould in a property. It device detects conditions necessary for mould to thrive, and provides alerts so early remedial action can be taken. Data from the sensor is transmitted using LoRaWAN long-range wireless, providing a real-time display for occupants and cloud-led information for landlords if required.
A discreet 2.7″ e-paper screen shows the current temperature and humidity levels. Custom messages can be sent to the display via LoRaWAN downlink, providing a useful tool for notifying home occupants of health risks due to environmental conditions. The display has two push buttons that can be used to provide user feedback, such as alert acknowledgements or changing parameters.

LoRaWAN technology offers phenomenal range and exceptionally low power requirements, supporting large networks for millions of devices. Deep in-building penetration extends 1-2km. Real-time readings from Synetica devices are transmitted to the cloud without the need for repeaters, where data can be visualised and analysed.

A build up of damp and mould in homes has been linked to serious health implications, especially for people with respiratory problems, alleries and asthma. Typical symptons include sneezing, a congested nose, irritated eyes and skin aliments such as eczema. Mould can also impact the immune system and initiate more severe conditions, including the onset of asthma attacks. Mould and mildew can readily form in homes where there is damp, condensation, high humidity and poor ventillation.
